Such was the case for our wonderful clients, who, after years visiting New Zealand decided to make a permanent home in the bustling heart of the CBD. With a desire to start fresh with their furniture, they entrusted us with the task of transforming their compact urban apartment into a sanctuary.
The first thing on our list when revitalising this property was maximising its space without sacrificing style or functionality. Through careful spatial planning and strategic design choices, we created a layout that optimises every square inch.
With this property in the heart of New Zealand’s busiest city, we wanted to create an environment that when our clients came home, closed the front door and kicked those shoes off – they were transported from the hectic buzz of the outside world and into a space of total sanctuary and relaxation.
Before engaging our services, they purchased a warm rust coloured couch – an item that really stood out to them and in turn was a great guidance point for us when building the rest of the colour palette.
To evoke a sense of calm amidst urban hustle, we introduced warm, natural colours in the rug, cushions and art.
